Traveling with kids in the winter?

Skip bulky coats.

Think thermal base, fleece, and puffer. Bonus: Merino wool = warm, light, and fast-drying.

One waterproof coat per kid

No more, no less. Make it washable (hello, ketchup + snow!).

Always pack 2 hats + 2 gloves per child.

They will lose or soak them. Clips help!

Waterproof boots + thick socks = win.

Add slip-ons for indoor comfort.

Pack dry bags with extra clothes.

Bring non-freezing snacks + easy toys for mitten hands!
